For all you StarCraft Addicts Tiberian Sun Date Set PC: Westwood has confirmed the release date for Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun. According to Game Online, August 27th is the date the sequel to the classic RTS title will ship worldwide for PC. The global release is an effort to cut down on the affects of piracy and cross-territory importation. Likely to sell millions, the title has been much delayed over the past year, so confirmation of a shipping date will undoubtedly bring unremitting joy to fans of the series. Despite August 27th being the date spread over the Web this morning, EB World is listing the title as an August 25th release for both the normal PC version and the Platinum Edition. Westwood was unavailable for comment at the time of going to press.
