Liberty Valence is much better. John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart and Lee Marvin. The argument over the steak and shooting the buckets. John Wayne losing the love of his life but protecting the guy who got her. And not a bad song.

EVerytime I try to introduce the kids to a movie I thought was great, then see it through their eyes, it loses its magic.
Or movies I thought were really SCARY- like the Birds. THey laughed through the whole thing- at the movie and at me for being so dumb. SO they're on their own. Let them find their own movies. I'm keeping mine to myself. Hmph.
