Yes the lack of volume is still the missing piece, but that may come soon..as the margin calls come...in the e mail...

I agree. I believe that we are setting up for a huge rally into the summer beginning sometime in June. It would be nice to see capitulation to the downside, but maybe new rules are forming, that is, no capitualtion with strong volume, just bear market-like action which drifts lower and lower and lower.

I was watching CNBC today and John Bollinger, someone whom I personally respect, stated emphatically that certain of his technical indicators strongly suggest lower interest rates during the second half of the year. With interest spreads widening just like they did prior to October's severe correction, with Argentina heading the way of Brazil, and with Japan still a basket case, I'm not so sure of the Fed's bias to raise interest rates and whether it really is a head fake for the stock market in general. I think raising interest rates under these circumstances would be devastating to the world economy. IMO, I believe the Fed didn't like stock valuations at the present time and performed their jawboning act to take this market down, especially large-cap, high multiple stocks. Oh well, only time will tell. Good luck to you.
