You sound like you are your own worst enemy! So long as you have that "loser attitude" you will act like a loser. I am not saying that a Winning attitude"will make your portfolio go up in value, I am simply saying that you are making all the wrong moves because you think you are not good enough to be right. You are buying high and selling low. Why do you buy a stock near its all-time high? Are you operating on the greater fool theory? I,too, have bought stocks too high, and either sold them immediately at a 5% loss or held them through the big down turn and recovered a year later. At this point in time, I think you shoud sit tight.
