The conversation on RB is now a debate over the upcoming NAZ listing change for MSGI and if the company has the option of releasing the information immediately or waiting until market conditions are more favorable. Any thoughts on this subject?

Hi Franz - what I'm saying is that I'm not worrying about MSGI. It remains a very solid pick. It was looking good late morning - then sold off - as did the Dow and Nasdaq after 3 PM. Just another trading day.

I'll be checking the stock each day on vacation - just to get a feel for where it is - then back to my vacation. If it starts to surge over the next six weeks (on vacation for most of that time) then I'll consider some further profit taking and I'll buy back after a retracement. Why miss out on a profit-taking opportunity for the sake of a 1 minute phone call? The 'nets can move quickly and I wouldn't want to miss the next surge.

I don't worry about lost opportunities to take profits. All of my picks this year - except one - provided opportunities for good profits - I just need to take profits more often - and learn better on when to sell. It's far more important to me for my research to throw up potential/actual winners than to dwell on opportunities lost. This gives me peace of mind knowing that if I miss a profit-taking opportunity this time - then I'll try to do better next time - when the next profit taking opportunity presents itself. If I sense that a pick may turn out to be a dud then I won't hesitate to get out - so I reduce any losses. My picks are getting much better and I've reduced my trading intensity compared to last year. I have my trading strategy for the rest of the year in place and I have my next three stocks already picked - and they continue to behave as I had hoped they would. I'll place MSGI profits into those stocks at the right time - while still maintaining a position in MSGI.

Of course it all comes down to everything working out - but the fewer the number of links in the chain then the better the probability of success.

My strategy calls for MSGI to be @$50+ sometime over the next 12 weeks or so. Within that period I am looking for a move from the NASDAQ SCM to NM and 'coverage initiation announcements' which should help to push MSGI over $50. There may also be an interest rate cut sometime this summer.

Having a strategy in place - that I stick to - gives me peace of mind and allows me to focus on further stock research as well as getting on with the rest of my life.

Off to Quebec City and New England next week. If folks haven't been to QC before - then do so when you're in 'those parts'. Stay at one of the hotels in the 'Old City'. It's just like being in Paris.

David :)
