I am going to make every effort to give Michael his walking papers if this stock does not recover when the tech sector does.

Indeed; why, DELL is now up only a measly 75% over the last 52 weeks. Profits rose a pathetic 45% last quarter.

Giving Michael his walking papers is not enough; we should hang him. Why should we abused investors have to put up with a stock that outperforms the Nasdaq composite by as trivial a margin as this:

Such rank incompetence should not be tolerated. That's our money he's squandering; citizens, let's take action now!

There will be news soon on Dell Computer!
Yes, soon we will get to see lots of news articles on Michael Dell selling stock again. It will be stated that it is part of his regular diversification that he has been doing for some time. He can't buy back now without it appearing that he has shorted his own stock in the past. If he stops selling, then it will be hard to ever sell again without investors reading bad news into it. But when he sells next time at low levels, I think people will read into it that Dell is a "SELL" at any price. I know many of you do not seem to mind that he sells and sells and sells. But I wonder if many of you also are troubled by it. This is not the news we need now, by no means. I am still long Dell with most of my portfolio. I'm not a Dell bear. Good luck all.

Frank : Dells present action seems not to be company specific
Despite all the facts known and discussed here about the uniqueness of Dell -company plans,
growth, and analysts ratings- the Street is treating GTW and Dell as tho they were twins and
with no distinction from others in the PC industry.
Short term- every PC looks the same to an analyst
The Street has done the same thing for years and only by looking many months back can one see the
long term performance advantage achieved by Dell. Dell is the next Dell.

Frank, Even though it looks like I am busting your B#^ls. I feel for you man. You have got to realize that there are alot of new investor in the market now, and they just don't understand the market. Dell had been trading over it fundamental growth for the last two quarter and I been pounding the table and saying take profit the day of the earnings. But you didn't listen. The stock always come back to it's fundamental value sooner or later. Joe the loser
