I believe Brinker has said that he would only sell in the case of an intermediate correction if he got an intermediate sell signal. His model did not give him such a sell signal last fall and thus he waited the intermediate correction out. If he did get an intermediate sell signal, he would most likely go to cash because the probabilities are that such a signal will be followed by a bear market according to him.

I believe Bob stated that an intermediate correction (>10%) would be required to: 1) reach the level for an outright buy, and 2) restore health to and prolong the bull market.
