I'm reading your posts ... and like you am watching the market very closely. I am able to follow my portfolio pretty closely during the day (I have Level II) but in a blink, a few of my holdings fell pretty hard. Have to admit it has me nervous. The problem is not all internets are trading at stratospheric levels, and the growth prospects for these companies (like DWNS) is fantastic. I have been waiting SINCE the fall for the small cap NASDAQs internet stocks to catch up, and they haven't. They are looking really anemic, and there's no relief in sight.

Has the internet really lost its enthusiasm for investors? It's been great for me, because I like buying what I understand. Quite a lot of people have made small fortunes on internet stocks (large ones too, I'm sure) and you tend to like what's been good to you. At least I do. I think though it is safe to say that extremely overvalued internet stocks have lost their appeal. Gosh, they can't keep going up at 5-10+% a day forever, and those that thought they could are in for a big surprise. Hopefully their return to more realistic valuations won't create a panic and sour everyone on the whole sector.

Jean
