You can't draw Support lines off of bottoms (besides, those 2 bottoms were at 35 3/8 NOT 35). Those 2 bottoms were playing into the weak support of the 11/11/98 high. For stronger support, look at the 9/28/98 high of 34 1/16 (it was resistance then). After that high, DELL pulled back and then from 12/3/98 thru 12/11/98, DELL tried repeatedly to get thru that resistance around 34 1/16. Finally, on 12/21/98, DELL broke thru. After that, it easily broke thru the weak resistance that you and CNBC are depending on.
