bp,

Yep, you're right -- applications that drive bandwidth (inside the computer, not into the computer) will be key for the next serious upgrade cycle. Part of my Easter list for next year is a new camcorder with a Firewire port, a legacy-free PC also with a Firewire port, and software that will automatically capture the video and dump it onto a DVD-RAM disk. I'm also talking to a friend about setting up our systems to do video-conferencing but we don't have the bandwidth inside the computer (or into the computer, which is another Easter item) to do a decent job. And I'd love to be able to loan cameras to clients to be able to set up video-conferences, but that's a little further down the road.

Can't do any of this on my P-200 and still get regular work done.
