Joan, BR is a better co. than UCL, but in this new pair of dimes, it just means that UCL is a better takeover candidate. Now that Arco is gone, praise the lord and pass the ammunition, I think UCL is the top target. I like a lot of energy stocks at the right price. BR is one of them. Plains Resources and Diamond Offshore are more speculative plays I like and they have done very well by me. Love Pogo. Snyder is a good co. Helmerich and Payne is another classy services co. Some of these firms even make money and pay dividends. <g>
