The issue is, "Friends of Earth" lied to the UK about their motives. People in the UK were never told that the primary group against genetic engineering was against it not for food safety reasons, but for political reasons.

This group was given the last word in almost every UK press story, if you go back and look at these. And they are closely connected with Greenpeace, and Christian Aid as well. Want makes Friends of Earth so important to the UK, that they should dominate the press? What qualifications do they have? Were they elected?

What the UK got was the same opinion -- given top billing -- over and over...either through the mouth of "Friends", Greenpeace, or Christian Aid, and who knows what other connected organizations. They even found some kind of booklet that was sent out to organize these groups, though the details are still sketchy on this.

You said:
<you'll find there is a strong anti-US, anti-globalization, and anti-genetic engineering agenda.>

It's no secret. Even the press realize that now.
