rrman,

Looks like trouble for Bubba!

Latest poll data on Clinton's job performance
indicates that he has fallen to below 50% approval
rating. Looks like there is another casualty
in the Balkan War.

<<It's fairly consistent (bombings and interventions)--->>

I thought you had been arguing the *inconsistency* of our interventions? Rwanda? East Timor? Oh, theyre "colored." Somalia? Haiti? If you consider US interventionism in the past 20 years to be consistent, Id hate to see your example of inconsistency RR.

<<and you cannot deny that there is a constant pressure on and towards any type of labour movement , enviromental movements , and anything that might cut in to profits....>>

I suppose thats why the US has some of the strictest (but by far not the strictest, thank god) labor and environmental quality statutes in the world. I suppose its also why we have an irrational anti-trust law that makes it possible for the government to attack any business for any imagined offense, and also why labor unions are *exempt* from the Sherman Act. OSHA? EPA? Yes, American Capital just rolls roughshod over Labor, and the money is just pouring hand over fist.
