Just a little humor...:)
An old cowboy dressed to kill with cowboy shirt, hat, jeans, spurs and
chaps went to a bar and ordered a drink. As he sat there sipping his
whiskey, a young lady sat down next to him.

After she ordered her drink she turned to the cowboy and asked, "Are you
a real cowboy?"

"Well, I have spent my whole life on the ranch herding cows, breaking
horses, mending fences... I guess I am," replied the cowboy.

After a short while he asked her what she was.

"I've never been on a ranch so I know I'm not a cowboy," said the young
woman, "but I am a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about women.
As soon as I get up in the morning I think of women. When I eat, shower,
watch TV, everything seems to make me think of women."

A short while later she left and the cowboy ordered another drink. A
couple sat down next to him and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"

"I always thought I was, but I just found out that I'm a lesbian."

AOL very rarely closes down four days in a row.

I did a little research. Since January 98, AOL has closed down on 4 consecutive days only twice. If tomorrow's close is lower than today's, that will be 4 days.

From 7/30/98 to 8/6/98, AOL was down 5 consecutive days.

7/31/98 117.13
8/3/98 116
8/4/98 111
8/5/98 107.38
8/6/98 105.38
...
8/7/98 111.88

From 2/4/99 to 2/9/99, down 4 consecutive days:

2/4/99 169.00
2/5/99 164.00
2/8/99 159.00
2/9/99 147.94
...
2/10/99 150.88

I know these are meaningless statistics that aren't predictive, but perhaps interesting for those of us with nothing much to do but wait.

Still waiting for better days, still long. And have to think the bottom is near (but not calling it).

Hi Rick,

Your skyrocket looks a little like one of those recent Titan IV launches that fizzled.....

<<Prepare to skyrocket tomorrow....>>

And good morning to all of our fanatic AOL bulls, how are you all feeling this morning?
