Does anyone feel that if we see some of the prospective IPO's
pulled that it will have an immediate positive effect on the internet
stocks ? I am surprised to see DLJdirect go to market this week given
what is happening with the internet stocks. Can DLJ delay this IPO
as late as tomorrow morning ? If that happened I would think it would
be a real shot in the arm for all internet stocks. Comments please.

I love all these downside projections. The more the better.

Do you think that the elephants weren't concerned by Bezo's lack of a
profit projection? It's scared all of the other Internets, so now the Dot is
getting hammered.:-)))<<

James i think the market will tell us tomorrow Do you think Jeff will be more cautious about his comments in the future... well maybe?

Anyway this was a broad based sell off, not company specific, and a critical support level was broken today on IIX that's why internets are a mess.. Now, 275 on IIX, this really needs to hold and it usually does when an ascending triangle breaks down.

Aol 112 support, if it doesn't hold we go to next level 85 -90 is strong support. Yhoo 124 is strong support, and Amzn 106-110 (approxmate 200 MA) is next support zone, if it don't hold then 84 is the next mark. Well Lets watch these support zones closely, we could make some good money on the bounce.

James,

You hit the nail on the head. AMZN started the collapse of the Inets including long term names such as AOL. AOL was/is pricy but could drop more. Bezos got me long and short. His lack of business ability is ruining a good part of the market. Hmmm...I wish I could say what I am feeling<G>
