If I'm not mistaken, the IgE story has been around for a couple years, in one form or another. There was reported lab research up at Harvard. My guess is that some of the better analysts who have followed this stock have factored in this type of innovation risk, and still like the bet.
Selling may also be based on a belief that J&J must not have faith in Nori; why else back out? One answer is that J&J has historically disliked copromotions, and is just running true to form, so we shouldn't think worse of Nori. This was confirmed for me by a J&J alum with experience in their licensing practices. (But how ugly would it get if J&J stopped the Propulsid project? Don't want to think about that.)

This IgE blocker treatment was public domain information at least as far back as October Or November when I first saw a NBC Nightline report on the Tanox drug. The news was good for the inital treatment at that time, what was not covered was the sustainability of the treatment. They perform their action by disabling the autoimmune system, they need to appreciate the consequences of shutting down the autoimmune system.

NBC Nightline reran that same program again in about February.

This market should not be discounting for this issue, it is very old news.

According to our MD's here and on YC IgE Blockers are serious threat possibly ever, but no sooner than many years away.
