tom thanks for getting the news out. Actel should have bought Gate last August. Why doesn't East just buy it now. What can Gate do on its own, NOT MUCH. They must have some embedded deals in the works or expect more from Siemens. we should merge this thread with actel. doug

good find Tom,spoke with some people at gate today and was told morale is high,technology is proven and should be in production soon about q4 or q1-00 depending on ramp.Imbedded licensing would follow soon-great support from actel and even possible buyout possibilities loom in future.I don''t know what took actel so long but I am glad they came through.May see some vc involvement if reverse split takes place but that would be long term and may not be required.
