When I worked the old CompuServe boards several years ago they used to drop silent as new corrections started and turn loud and violent at the bottoms. Alan, Maybe we are on to something here... Using SI message count as a turning point indicator :o)) I'm focusing on the long side too. Most of what I have is in IRAs. Had a couple of decent trades today, but it's a bit painful watching the long term portfolio take a hit. I'm playing with options on paper looking at CCs and even buying a put now and then to gain on the downside. Missed a few today I didn't want to chase, but it looks like there is some opportunity there. Grabbed a few cheap calls too, just in case we have one of those huge rebounds this week. Dan
