Here is another good reason to standardize on Tornado. This reminds me of how Apple captured a large and loyal following by selling Mac's cheaply to students in the 1980's. The news also speaks to the serious dearth of RTOS engineers. Perhaps that is another reason why WRS is so concerned with developing it's professional services and field engineering staff. WRS wants to become service and technology company. In fact service revenues were up 40% last quarter v.s. 23% for total revenues. Are there any other companies that are taking a full service approach like this?
