Keeley did not say the second qtr would be weak. He said the first qtr is the normally weak qtr. He said on the conf call that each qtr should get progressively stronger. He ventured that this year the normal fall-off (slight) in the fourth qtr might not happen and that the fourth qtr might actually be the strongest qtr.
A reasonable expectation for qtrly progress would be:
$.08/sh 1st qtr
$.14/sh 2nd qtr
$.18/sh 3rd qtr
$.20/sh 4th qtr
Estimates for the year are ~$.60/sh (endorsed by Keeley). This pattern is my guesstimate for how we would get there.
The reason the second and third qtrs are always stronger, is that we are dealing somewhat with weather related issues in cable/fiber laying, as well as the way the cable cos and RBOCs release funds.
