It's interesting that the ERICY/QCOM "settlement" which supposedly "settled" all this stuff, really didn't settle any of it. Dave, I disagree. The "only" stuff settled by the deal with Ericsson was the stuff strictly between Ericsson and Qualcomm. The deal knocked down one of the major barriers to adoption of CDMA. It was possibly the largest remaining barrier that fell, depending on your point of view. But the deal didn't attempt to knock down all the barriers. --Mike Buckley
