Nothing can come from nothing. Therefore, either the universe is of infinite duration, or something originated it. The Big Bang Theory points to a discrete moment when the universe began existence. Testy. Paul is stating an argument that can also be found in the Greek philosophers, natural revelation. Methinks you have fallen for scientism. Read Hayek's The Counter-Revolution of Science for the cure. And how about a negative proof? Try making the case against Bahnsen's Transcendental Argument. Be sure to bring a lunch.
