Pompsander...

Rambus isn't MSFT not even close...Why can I tell..

Marketing not R & D is Key to success and MSFT has the best marketing in the world, and Rambus must I say more...seems to have some of the worst around.. Who needs a great product if you have great marketing..MSFT has done it for years. Just ask Wordperfect, Lotus, Dbase, Netscape..They all fell to marketing.

MSFT may be close to maxing out it's potential and that is why they are scrambling in Redmond... I am not calling for an end, but NT/Win 2000 is a can of worms.. and how many people need another version of Office... Expect to see IE for sale before too long..which will mean the end is nearer.

Of course buying and holding is great for many people, never said it wasn't. I just think you could make a lot more with a little flexibility.

Don

I agree, I don't have the resources or the knowlege to jump around.I trust more my gut feelings.
I did sell most of my internets, IMO the prices where becoming unstable. However there are some stocks I am in for the long haul and will not change example msft, now that stock is going to have to go down a long way before I am in the red.
but then everyone has their own style, and thats ok. whatever works
as long as we all get to the end result who cares
