Barb, if the law is ill- founded, it ought to be changed. One jerk's testimony means nothing to me, however... I was trying to rush through a bunch of posts, so I ignored the Coke question... We have been discussing the principles involved. I am far less interested in, and conversant with, the state of debate about the actual harm done by each drug. Sources that I consider reputable think that legalization is a bad idea. Maybe they are wrong. If I were actually legislating on the subject, I might research the topic more, or have hearings. Here, I am comfortable arguing the principles... Do you want the Libertarian Party to become defined by its support of legalization?
