The 3 billion that Charter is paying for Falcon works out to about $3600 per subscriber. This is in line with some other cable acquisitions and means that they intend to get more than $30-$60 per month per subscriber. I think I know how they intend to do it - by offering and array of services from telephone, VOD and interactive capabilities. Individualized advertising could end up footing the whole bill.
