To all, Something to keep an eye peeled for...I think Michigan is NEC territory... From the MAY 99 GCN State and Local MICHIGAN CRIME FIGHTERS. The state has awarded $3.4 million in technology grants to 38 local law enforcement agencies. The grants come from the third and final phase of a project bringing $10 million in state funds to 131 communities. Agencies will use the grants to buy notebook PCs, crime analysis equipment, crime-mapping software, PCs, computer-aided dispatch systems, automated booking systems and automated fingerprint identification systems. gcn.com steve
