sam that means they shorted 1 million shares in the mid 60's to the low 50's. during the last 90 days institutions increased their holdings by 4 million shares. looked to me yesterday like heavy heavy buying especially at the close. even with all that short selling we made it back to the high 80's last week. now with k7 and intc rambus shipping announcements looming, life will be interesting. how are they going to cover? who will sell now that all the problems are solved? what will they do as the price continues up? who are these shorters? how well are they connected? is this why we get no mention on cnbc and other news orgs even after nearly a double in just 3 weeks? unclewest
