Yeah, and how many of them sign marketing deals with IBM?

Who cares how much marketshare you've got if you can't *leverage* it into higher fees. IBM/7th Street evidently wanted to go with a proprietary means of streaming tech in order to a) prevent content re-distribution b) sell custom-configured IBM streaming hardware.

To the extent this trend continues, RNWK is fighting a war on two fronts -- proprietary as well as open-sourced.

I'm interested in the future of streaming media. (I just found out that I can get "red' in my area.) I post what I read on the internet. I post it here to get second (hopefully informed) opinions on these items.
