HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 1999--First Sierra Financial, Inc. (Nasdaq: BTOB - news) announced today
that it has signed a letter of intent to utilize Security First Technologies Corporation, or S1, (Nasdaq: SONE - news) and its
Virtual Financial Manager(TM)(VFM) software to power its planned Internet-based business-to-business financial institution.
Security First Technologies is the leading developer of integrated, transactional and brandable Internet applications for financial
institutions.

First Sierra announced on April 14, 1999, subject to regulatory approval, it plans to establish the first Internet-based business-
to-business bank. The Company plans to offer banking services to its active customer base of more than 55,000 small
businesses.
