it has been a beautiful spring. rhodies, azaleas, irises still going strong.

although i think jefferson was in money trouble a lot of the time as he built such glorious residences all the time...and kept adding on, tearing down, rebuilding, etc. certainly he was land rich...and rich beyond imagination in ways that counted much more than cash...

We in the Mid- mid- Atlantic are the most blessed, weather- wise. Even the Caribbean, with its nasty old hurricanes and egregious lack of Autumn, cannot compete!
