Only this time, I think it s a REACTION to PREVENT market share LOSS - to Intel. AMD's 400 MHz K6-2 is now selling for $71 - this compares to $150 for the same speed device on March 2 of this year. In other words, AMD's "bread & Butter" CPU/speed combination has been CUT IN PRICE by MORE THAN HALF ! Look for another major AMD loss this quarter - and a LOSS in market share. Paul
