Dan, I am not trying to pick apart your faith or your arguments. I ma sure that by now you realize that I have no problem with whatever path you choose, as long as it brings happiness and security to you, your family, and those around you. That said, I do want to ask you a question. <<For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.>> doesn't it bother you to see things written that essentially tell you not to think for yourself? God gave us the gift of thought, logic, and curiosity. Are we not to use those gifts? Are we not to examine our beliefs, to make sure that they live up to scrutiny? Morning poor old Dan. "but as you know , the overwhelming majority of the designers of our country were christian and based our country on that." No that is more lies and propaganda. Study your history and they were all religious but not believers in Jesus and the Catholic brand of Jesus religion. If you will read the works of the founders of the constitution you will quickly see your error. You confuse your thinking by the classification as Christian to cover all religion of the founders. If you truly want to see the Mystical - Gnostic beliefs of the founders pull a dollar bill from your pocket and just see how God is involved in the emblems on front & back. You do not see any emblem of Jesus there. You see the law of the triangle in the pyramid with the eye at the top which is the symbol of the all seeing eye of God. E. Pluribus Unum, the scales of balance, the eagle, the wheat and branch held in its claws and many others I cannot call from memory. "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" Can you not read what you wrote above? HE THAT IS IN YOU. That means everyone has Christ in them. No one has Jesus in them.
