At least you admit that DELL has an advantage! Whoa! I do agree that the industry doesn't seem to be in the best possible health.

As for overpayment, I have presented my valuation model for growth companies based on expected growth and PEG relative to the S&P. I understand that you disagree, which is OK.

But may I know what your valuation model is? Earlie's, I believe, is PB, which is inappropriate IMO for most high-tech companies and in particular for DELL, where no book value is placed on their build-to-order model with superb cash conversion cycle (where they get paid first by their customers and pay their suppliers later), based on an extremely efficient just-in-time supply chain management implementation.
