$173.50 (III) - give or take a tick. From there we have $158.50 (II) and $157.50 (I) -- HELP!!!!

Typically the day's total volume must meet/exceed certain levels in order to sustain the break through. Like yesterday it required 7.4 million shares of trading to sustain break down through $202.00 (final hour negative trading did the trick...), today we need 9 or 10 million to sustain a break through the earlier $185.00 figure. We are probably going to come very close to those levels with the unfortunate circumstance of closing between $173.50 and $195.50 now. I'll call it $185.00.

My personal guess was that the worse was over and we would bounce today (getting us back to an Iday $229 area), unfortunately, more pain had to be inflicted before the we get relief from what is looking like a classic shake out.

Margin calls, stop-loss limits have exacerbated this mess. The only immediate consolation we now have is that the shorts must start covering.

PS: See we have already exhausted a great deal of volume defending down into $173.00. So we will probably have a struggle breaking up to $195.50 (II) and sooner $192.875 (III). Unless we get an unlikely sudden/enormous spurt in late day buying.

"I know of no one that can predict stock prices on a daily basis, for if it could be done then the Forbes 500 richest would include a day trader in it."

Hank, give me a break. I've only been daytrading for 1 1/2 years now. <g>
