At first glance (we don't have access to the details), it seems like UP paid a stiff price for a bit of cash. Of course, UP didn't have much choice. Our company was over a barrel, unable to pay creditors and had to pay pretty much what those cos. with cash wanted in exchange for a bit of their cash.

A partial interest in only 9 new wells in one year is not going to give UP much of a lift. Looks like, if UP ever does make it, it's going to take a long time to get there. Unless we sell out, for the next several years our money is going to be tied up in a very iffy company languishing at around a buck a share or less.
