scott and thread:
i apologize if this sounds like hype, but i truly feel that (overall market cooperating) gmst is ready to go places. the H&Q report that someone put on the yhoo thread points to the conclusion that TV, Cable, Sat., the computer(and internet) are about to come closer, a new market is reaching critical mass and Gemstar is in the thick of things. A lot of what's happening with T, MSFT and (perhaps) AOL would be meaningless without Yuen's blessing. I have been a believer in GMSTF for a while, but today I felt a couple more light bulbs go on in my mind. An epiphany? Today "I feel like a i-nut". The revenue stream from all these products p[romises to be good(I want to say mind boggling but hey...)
It also makes good sense that T wont drag its heels in lawsuits with GMST, while AOL is out there reaping the rewards of AOL-TV. T can have a win-win situation if it settles and licenses the technology from GMST(like EVERYONE else).

And NYStew:
what will it take for you to forsake that yhoo thread and post on SI exclusively? :~> (evil crooked smile).
