This is interesting, historical irony-wise:

Sergei Khrushchev [Nikita'a son], a foreign policy lecturer at Brown University, is becoming a US citizen.[He] and his wife, Valentina Golenko, who have lived in the country for eight years, plan to take the oath June 23, and they're hoping to vote next year in their first presidential election. Probably for the Republicans.
"I will not vote for Democrats--- it's too dangerous now for the country...I think the decision to begin the war in Yugoslvia is, as Talleyrand said, worse than a crime--- it's a mistake. My father once told me,'Any fool can start a war. But to end one takes many wise people.'"---- The Washington Post, C3, May 26
