We don't need to hear anything from Kevin, George. You guys are figuring it all out on your own.

bid 3 1/2, volume 500 (all buys!) no news/no audit, only conjecture in sight.

When people don't call me back, I dig even harder,
George. I suspect HGRM is behind these "Marks of
Conformity" but I can't be sure. I've also seen
the term "Holographic Mark of Conformity" in some
Russian publications. Now you can appreciate the
vastness of this project. Let's hope we get paid!

Bob

"The main national testing and certification body of the
Russian Federation is the Russian Federation State
Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Certification
(Gosstandart) which develops basic policies for certification
and standards.

On May 17, 1997 a decree "On Marking of Goods and Products Within
the Territory of the Russian Federation with Marks of Conformity
which are Protected from Falsification" was adopted by the Russian
government. A mark of conformity is a duly registered mark
confirming that the goods or products labeled with it comply with
the standards and requirements adopted for the relevant types of
product. The decree states that such marks shall be placed on
all goods produced on the territory of Russia, imported into the country
or confiscated by customs and later offered in the consumer market."
