Keep the faith. Oracle is undervalued in the mid 20's. They *are* an Internet stock, but better yet, they are a key *infrastructure* stock. There are few companies better positioned to capitalize on the explosive growth in eCommerce and the web in general.

Despite its best attempts, Microsoft is still in the minor leagues when it comes to scaleability and high availability applications for its database technology. Many of the "big guys" on the net and almost all of the bigger customers I see in my space (manufacturing) are on an Oracle foundation.

I like their prospects over the long haul, provided that Ellison can get over his sick fascination with Bill Gates and focus on what Oracle does well, not what Microsoft does poorly. And the Oracle sales force needs a serious can of whoop-ass opened on them to wipe away their arrogance...but the core technology is pretty strong, and Oracle 8i has a lot of power in it...
