Some random thoughts.... How come I've seen CSCO drop to 99 a few times in the past several months on less of a market downturn than we're having now, yet this time it's so stable? Also, regarding a "haircut" for COF and PVN. I hope not for COF, as I just took a little position in it and unless there is a very profitable rally where I can't resist taking profit, I will hold it maybe even thru the split. (Will give shares to my kids, who like the CEO a lot.) Seems to me PVN would take a much worse haircut, because so many of its core investors bailed out on the bad "consumer fraud" news that came out about PVN. I don't think COF has lost quite as much of its core support, but could be wrong.
