present PE ratio for SUNW now is 56X earnings. EPS for 2000 is $1.70 (consensus). With Asia earnings increasing rapidly and overall business good according to company releases at analysts meetings, I look for the next two earnings periods to yield substantial earnings upside surprises. I believe that EPS by calendar 2000 will be close to 1.80 and there will be PE expansion to the 60's.

This is how I see SUNW at $100.00 per share. 60 X 1.80 = $108

Now contributing to upside surprises, please factor in: server sales gains due to e-commerce software releases, service business increases, storage business increases, telco increases, favorable court rulings on Java (verses MSFT); i-planet; incorporation of Linux, etc.
