Loren,

Is your report going to be a equity price drop reaction-based one or are you going to cover the individual investor's perspective of DELL from a business angle as well? If it is the later, I recommend that you talk to these posters (I am not sure if they will be willing to be quoted by name, or even give an opinion, you have to ask them): Chuzzlewit, John Rosser, Rudedog and Gabriel Dubois.

Also, I recommend that you talk to some DELL bears (if I may use the term) on the Ask Michael Burke thread like Michael Burke himself and two other individuals who go by the monikers Earlie and Michael Bakunin.

I urge you not to write a short term equity price fluctuation based report - markets go up and down - but instead do an anlysis of the individual investor's perception of the changing trend in the PC box makers market and how DELL and its competitiors in this arena are reacting to it.

-BGR.

Loren: Send a PM to three of the biggest DELL bulls out there (Kemble Matter, Drew Swiss, and William B. Michaels). Their confidence has not been wavering IMO. They are large shareholders and have bought dozens of times in the last few years. It's important to get the perspective of DIE hard DELL BULLs.

I still have many of my original shares BUT I have diversified more in the last few months. In the LONG RUN I wouldn't bet against Michael Dell. His company still has the best leadership, talent, business model and ability to execute in the hardware industry, IMO.

Good luck with your story.

Best Regards,

Scott
