From thestreet.com excerpt

Barnes & Noble (BKS:NYSE) and barnesandnoble.com (BNBN:Nasdaq) will be eminently successful in that this company enjoys the best of both possible worlds. Regardless of who is selling books, customers will have to go to Barnes & Noble, which, after it completes its acquisition of Ingram, will become the largest book distributor in America. That was a brilliant move.

While Wal-Mart (WMT:NYSE) still lacks an online presence, it has ample resources to spend to become an overnight presence on the Internet. As long as Wal-Mart executes properly, (and doesn't it always?), it will blow away the competition, here, there or anywhere!

Will some brick-and-mortar companies fail to establish a successful online presence? You bet. But don't look for the big guys to fail. They are too good at what they do, and after all, the Internet is only an additional means to sell merchandise.

Regards

neil

Sorry I did not respond earlier. I was so confident with my post from yesterday stating we would have a positive day that I took the opportunity to hit the golf course. Unfortunately, hitting the golf course was the only thing I hit today except for a few branches and a lot of sand....LOL..

I said yesterday BKS would end up positive and I was correct. Although I am concern with the fact that BKS is having problems breaking 30. We need to keep our eyes on this. If BKS does not break the resistence within a week, we could see it drop and test 27.

All we need is one good press release or just waiting for the 25 day lock up period to pass on BNBN.....Keep the faith everyone. We own a prominent company not a fly by night. DONT BE ONE OF THOSE THAT 3 MONTHS FROM NOW COMPLAIN THEY SOLD THIS STOCK.
