wayne, in addition to the stock options issues with Dell one must also consider the fact that they made more money speculating in their stock than selling PCs in the last 3 years. i believe forbes had a story on this within the last few months. Most simply listen to maria B scream " better than expected earnings" Mike

I agree that stock options need to be accounted for. However, I assure you that DELL's free cash flow is just superb. They do have a substantial options liability which is being funded in large part by sell of LEAPS poots to Lucretious Taurus. :-)
