Heavy Hitters and Hardest Hit For May 26th

Miami, FL, May 26 /SHfn/ -- Dial the doctor! A whiplash epidemic has hit Wall Street! Maniacal-like volatility has flung the Internet issues up
and down all morning. Now toiling to hold the line, these stocks may have found a bottom. See who's creeping higher.

Heavy Hitters

Healtheon is quickly ascending at midday, posting a 22% gain. Shares have seen a recent pop, due to confirmation of a merger with WebMD.

Hauppauge Digital is gaining favor again today, with 12% gains. The company rocketed higher on May 21 after announcing it will soon release
its PC based Digital TV Service that will allow TV viewing via a PC window.

Corning glassware company is up by nearly 5 points or 10%, after earning much praise for its products. JP Morgan initiates coverage on
Corning with a long term buy, and Salomon smith Barney pounded the table with both fists on the company.

Platinum Technology International Inc. is up 12% after the proposed takeover by rival Computer Associates International Inc. cleared the U.S.
antitrust hurdle.

Marine Drilling is up more than 7% after Credit Suisse First Boston initiated coverage with a buy rating and a $19 price target. Share price
approaches $13 at midday.

DLJDirect a tracking stock spawned from Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Inc.'s online brokerage unit, priced 16 million shares at $20 each,
raising $320 million. Shares are seeing gains of 33%, trading above $26.

Barnesandnoble.com the much anticipated IPO made little impact on its debut yesterday. Today they add to their gains.

Yahoo! recovering from a deep morning dip, now up nearly 2% on heavy volume.

Amazon.com is shaking the markets up with its wild swings in share price today. The stock now sits a fraction higher, giving inspiration to its
Net brethren seeking positive ground.

Hardest Hit

Biogen sidled forward by nearly 2 points, the drug maker divulging its psoriasis drug Ameviv will enter a phase III trial. Shares opened sharply
higher, then retreated, now adding to gains on strong volume.

America Online swung wildly all morning, bobbing in a 14 point range. A 2-3/16 pop at the open preceded strong selling and a steep drop off,
and the stock now sits 5% weaker.

Etoys teased shareholders this morning opening higher, then sharply falling off. By midday shares are sitting 6% lower.

CMGI struggled to recover but failed and the thwarted rally is reflected in a 5% loss.
