The IBD Fund Index has been bouncing around the 200-day MA lately, up and down through it repeatedly for almost 2 months. Haven't checked it in a week but the group seems to be outdated. I have an index of the top 40 funds performance-wise for last 3 years, and it broke through its 50-day MA on Friday and yet still 20% above its 200-day MA. I just thought that article was interesting coming as it did just before his IPO and against the recent trading history of the nets and earnings (reports) momentum stocks that sell off after each quarter.

Side note:

All of the local phones are up strong today. XTC (Telephones) is highly correlated to the UTY (Utilities) and Dow Utilities yet none of the phone stocks is in the indices.
