I do show a lot of disrespect for the analysts - please keep in mind that my purpose is not to slam these people personally. In fact, I think many of them are very hard working and bright and deserve respect were they provide useful service. But what I hope will occur over time is a shift away from them having so much influence. By being crude, I hope to bring home the point that the analysts are often wrong, often self-serving and often let the small individual investor know what they really think after they have told closer to their own or their brokerages interests.

From now on, just consider the term anals as a mere abbreviation for analysts. I have stopped using all caps as an emphasis on the group and will only use that again if an analyst really steps out of line.
