Joe, CNBC does sell time on Sunday for Infomercials, and I have seen one shady stock promotion scheme buy time and promote it as an 'appearance' on CNBC. It was done by PNDA, the Panda Project, though they were still Nasdaq at the time. I doubt they screen the content of those shows much.

joe...4 yrs. ago they had the ceo of AGTI..a 2 dollar bb company at the time..now trading a 2 cents...the stock ran up to 3 during the interview and then came right back down..FWIW...

CNBC does mention BB stocks, but it's a rare event. LOTS stands out in my mind, CNBC really popped it that day.
