edamo,

There is just so much that Dell can do and Dell is no Softie, and again no one is close to being in the same league as Softie.

It's a sad truth that the Street is treating DELL as a a piece of xxxx. I just got off talking with a Wall Street trader and he told me that everyone on the street was shorting DELL the day after they announced earnings. I think that DELL will be fine and it will make about $2 in year 2004, and it should be around 100 by then. The question is are investors nowadays happy enough with a 2 bagger within 5 years, especially DELL shareholders who are used to seeing a double within 6 months?

I am trying to do some bargain hunting and the one I picked more this morning was YHOO!. MSFT is becoming a great mutual fund. AOL is going to have serious trouble down the road although all the anaylsts think that it should command a trailing PE of more than 500, 600. In one day, it will have to be forced to cut down its monthly fee and the broadband issue is going to be a huge hangover in the long run. The best it can expect is that the majority of the Americans are stupid enough to stick with the biggest brand name who provides the worst service available.

it looks like DELL is going to close in black today. Maybe my order of 5 notebooks indeed helped?:) The whole market is rallying technically, hope that it's not a little dead cat bounce. I am just not convinced that we are seeing the bottom yet.
