I'm not looking to imply anything. The form lists the client as Berkshire Hathaway and the portfolio as General Re Corp.

I have no idea if Buffet knows anything about this co nor if he was in any way behind this purchase. I only know that SOMEONE { at least according to this report} bought this stock for the General Re portfolio.

All it means to me is another new institution has taken a position.
Add that to the 1.5 million shares Tudor bought, as well as the 85,000 shares that Morgan Stanley has bought for someone[s].

I find that interesting in light of the gloom and doom scenario that the shorts have predicted for SRCM.

Apparently others have done some checking and have come away feeling a tad different.

To you as well, I would be happy to fax a copy of this report.

Curious how I've offered to fax this report to any disbelievers yet I've had no takers. What are you all so scared about?
